Sabine Szunerits obtained her PhD from Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London, UK and is since 2010 Full Professor of Chemistry at University of Lille, France. Her research interests are in the area of material science with emphasis on the development of novel nanostructures and approaches for nanomedical applications as well as sensing related issues. She is co-author of more than 400 research publications, wrote 24 book chapters and has 9 patents, of having resulted in the creation of CorDial-IT. In 2018 she got awarded the Médailled’argent CNRS for her contribution to sensing and nanomedicine.
