Thomas C. Meisel is a Professor of geochemistry at the Montanuniversität Leoben Austria, General and Analytical Geochemistry has and education in technical chemistry and earth sciences. He did his PhD at the University of Bern, Switzerland and was postdoc at the University of Maryland, USA. For last couple of years, his research focused on the development of measurement procedures for micro- and nanoplastic measurements related to heath issues. He is working group leader within the microONE project (https://www.cbmed.at/microone/) and together with Prof. Denise Mitrano working group leader within COST Action PRIORITY (https://ca-priority.eu/ ).
